Most setups look clean from the front and hide a disaster underneath — a power strip sitting on the carpet, six cables draped over the back edge, and a vacuum you have to work around. This tray clamps under the desk and takes all of it off the floor.
Why it works
- No drilling, no damage. The clamp tightens onto your desk edge instead of screwing into it, so nothing gets permanently modified and the whole thing comes off when you rearrange.
- Holds the power strip, not just the cables. At 15.7 inches long there's room for a full strip plus the slack from everything plugged into it, so cords stop pooling on the ground.
- Open-frame design. Air moves around chargers and adapters, and you can reach in to swap a plug without unmounting anything.
- Molded plastic body. Light enough that the clamp holds securely without biting into your desktop, stiff enough that it doesn't sag once it's loaded.
- Black or white. Pick whichever one disappears against your desk.
Specs
- Tray size: 40 × 12 × 10cm (15.7" × 4.7" × 3.9")
- Material: molded plastic
- Finish: black or white
- In the box: one tray with clamp mounts — no tools or hardware needed, installs by hand in about a minute
Will this fit my desk?
The clamp needs a flat desk edge with open space underneath, which covers most rectangular laminate tops and standing desk surfaces. Desks with a thick decorative lip, a rounded underside, or a cross-brace right at the edge may not seat flush, so check the underside before ordering. The tray hangs about 3.9 inches below the desk, so make sure your knees or a drawer aren't in that space.
Built for gaming desks, home offices, and standing desks where cable clutter is the last thing left to fix.
Clamp tray questions, answered
Clamp mount vs. screw-mounted cable tray — which should I choose?
For most desks, the clamp mount. It tightens onto the desk edge by hand in about a minute, holds a full power strip plus cable slack, and comes off cleanly when you rearrange — no holes, no damage. Screw-mounted trays suit permanent installs where the tray will never move. For a typical gaming or home-office setup, the DeskForge clamp tray carries everything you need without modifying the desk.
How is a cable tray different from adhesive cable clips?
Adhesive clips route one or two cables along a surface, but they peel over time, leave residue, and can't hold a power strip. A tray is a 15.7-inch basket that carries the strip itself plus all the slack. They solve different problems — most clean setups use both.
Is this tray good for a gaming desk?
Yes — that's the use case it was built around. Gaming setups pile up the most cables (PC, monitors, chargers, LED strips), and the open-frame design keeps air moving around power bricks while letting you reach in and swap a plug without unmounting anything.
Cable tray vs. cable management box — which do I need?
A box hides a power strip on the floor; a tray gets the strip up under the desk and off the ground entirely. If your problem is cables pooling on the carpet where the vacuum hits them, the DeskForge tray is the fix.

Under-Desk Cable Management Tray with Clamp Mount
Quite poor quality. it is made of cheap plastic that bends when you add e.g. an extension cable in it

The corners are not in 90 ° So it's not in a right angle with the table. Also there are no screws and no double-sided tape in the package. I wouldn't buy it anymore.
It's plastic. Considering the price, the finish isn't bad. The size is larger than expected, so it might exceed the desk size.
Hello, product compliant. Quite honest for all my cables and power strips.
